At the Hunt for Hope Foundation, our mission is to empower individuals facing unemployment or underemployment to rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and purpose.
We deliver holistic support that goes beyond job placement—offering career counseling, housing assistance, childcare resources, food security programs, and community mentorship—to remove the barriers that hold people back from success.
By addressing the needs of the whole person, we restore confidence, promote self-sufficiency, and open pathways to sustainable careers and brighter futures.
Programs We Offer
Hunt For Careers
We help job seekers take the next step toward employment through personalized career coaching, resume development, and job placement support. Our goal is to connect individuals with meaningful work that aligns with their skills, passions, and long-term goals.
Hunt For Hope Pantry
A nourished body creates the foundation for a hopeful future. Through our food delivery pantry, grocery gift cards, and partnerships with local food banks, we ensure job seekers and their families have consistent access to healthy meals and essential nourishment—fueling their journey toward stability and success.
Hunt For Housing
Stable housing is the foundation of success. This program connects participants to housing resources, rental assistance, and supportive services to ensure every job seeker has a safe place to call home while they rebuild their future.
Hunt For Support
Hunt for Hope Foundation isn’t just an organization—it’s a community of hope and opportunity. We bring together job seekers, families, employers, volunteers, and donors who believe in helping one another rise. Through compassion, connection, and shared resources, we create a network where people are seen, supported, and empowered to rebuild their lives.
Hunt For Care
We support working parents, guardians, and adult caregivers by providing childcare and adult care vouchers, emergency care assistance, and partnerships with trusted local daycare centers and temporary in-home care providers. By removing at-home care barriers, we help families maintain stability, achieve work-life balance, and pursue lasting employment.
Hunt For Skills
We prepare individuals for today’s workforce through digital literacy training, hands-on workshops, and short-term certification programs. Participants gain valuable skills that boost confidence, employability, and long-term career growth.

“Losing My Job Helped Me Find My Purpose” – Malik Jennings’ Story
I had been working for the same logistics company for eight years when I suddenly got laid off. I didn’t see it coming. I remember sitting in my car afterward, wondering how I was going to pay rent or explain to my family that I didn’t have a plan.
That’s when I found the Hunt for Hope Foundation. I came in thinking I’d just get help with my résumé, but I walked away with something much bigger — direction. The team at Hunt for Careers, one of the foundation’s programs, helped me rebuild my confidence and my résumé. They coached me through interviews and helped me see my experience as valuable again.
Six weeks later, I had two job offers — one at a logistics firm and one at a youth development nonprofit. I chose the nonprofit because I realized I wanted my work to matter. Hunt for Hope helped me find more than a job — they helped me find my purpose.
